CO2-Neutral (NEW)

Carbon neutrality, or having a net zero carbon footprint, refers to achieving net zero carbon emissions by balancing a measured amount of carbon released with an equivalent amount sequestered or offset, or buying enough carbon credits to make up the difference. It is used in the context of carbon dioxide releasing processes, associated with transportation, energy production and industrial processes.

As BeFre is concerned about global warming, the company strives to offer to its customers more than eco-friendly alternatives for plastic polluting throwaway bags. BeFre offers a unique service : "CO2-neutral labelised bags"! As the bags are produced in The Middle and Far East, BeFre has decided, together with its partner CO2logic, to calculate the CO2-emissions for the production of the fabrics and the transport of the bags to the customers. All customers are free to decide wether or not to offset the emissions of their bags and participate in one of the five carbon-reduction projects leaded by CO2-logic.  In exchange, customers will get a CO2-neutral logo (certified by the United Nations) to be printed or stiched on the bag.
